Zach Snell, North, Class of 2000

Q&A with North alumnus Zach Snell

Q: What is your favorite high school memory?
Making short films for TV/Media Production class. These little skits were played for the whole school once per week during homeroom, so it was fun to see how everyone reacted to the class’s creativity. The funny part is, I was never actually in the class but always seemed to be asked to be in the skits that were being created and shared.

Q: Any teachers or coaches who deserve a special shout out?

Curt Salm, Mrs. Fahrenkrug, and Mr. Edler all had a big impact on my time at North. They were all great at balancing the necessary lessons and work to be done while providing an environment for each student to explore and grow in their own way.

Q: What was your school/career path after high school?

After high school I attended Carthage College to pursue an education degree, but quickly realized my passions lie elsewhere and pivoted to Exercise Science and Business Administration.

Q: What's your favorite thing about Appleton today?

Appleton remains a safe and affordable place to raise a family, experience all four seasons, and continue to explore new things.
