Dan and I met when we were 12 years old in 7th grade at Einstein Junior High School. Who knew we were only living 3 blocks away from each other as I attended elementary school at Franklin and Dan was right down the street at Huntley. We dated a short time at Einstein and became a couple during our sophomore year at West. Nine years later, in 1993, I got to marry my high school sweetheart! Together we have 3 kids who all attended various AASD schools including West (as West is best)!

I started my career in AASD as a co-op my senior year and was hired as a secretary shortly after graduation. I worked over 38 years (retired now) in various secretarial positions and later as an administrative assistant at the Leadership Center. Dan has been a teacher in AASD for 25 years at Dunlap/Lincoln Elementary. Our daughter Karissa is a secretary in AASD and has blessed us with a grandson.
